Ok, This is a pretty good little artile about starting upo a basement remodel;. My house is old, not colonial old, but old enough that my basement is low and not really useable as "living space", but I may look into making it useable by myself for watching football, working on models and the like. I think the main issue (other than moving an insane amount of crap out of there) I am going to have is water. Someone back in the day had the great idea of putting in blacktop next to the foundation in the backyard which when it rains, becomes a runway though the windos into the basement. Guess it maybe time to rent this again!!! I had a back ache for a couple days after the last time.
